CONSUMER UNIT REPLACEMENT
I offer a full bespoke consumer unit replacement service, if you are worried about the state of your consumer unit I can give you free advice and a quote for upgrading your installation to current safety standards. I only fit reputable high quality brands of consumer unit like Hager.

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION CONDITION REPORTS
In the UK an EICR should be done every 10 years for a domestic property, 5 Years on a rented property or on change of occupancy, and more often for business premises.
What does an Electrical Installation Condition Report Involve?
During an electrical inspection i carry out both visual checks and electrical tests.
Visual checks include looking at sockets and lights to check for damage or deterioration, checking the consumer unit to see if it is in good condition and up to current standards.
I provide a full PDF test report detailing our findings and this can be provided to your insurer and tenants if they require.
Photos which will be attached to the report so you know exactly what the problems are and I will can give you a free quote to fix them.
FAULT FINDING AND REPAIRS
Tripped circuits or blown fuses can occur at any time, leaving you without lights or power. I have many years experience of electrical fault finding in both commercial and domestic properties across folkestone and wider areas and can be with you at short notice to trace and repair these faults.
Most types of electrical fault such as fuse board problems, nuisance tripping, blown fuses, tripped RCDs, lighting and power faults can be rectified and repaired on the same visit.
An initial inspection of fittings and fixtures will be carried out to check for loose connections, signs of burning or dampness. If no obvious faults are detected I will proceed to carrying out an in-depth electrical fault finding test using calibrated equipment. On completion of these tests, if remedial work is required to reinstate power or rectify the fault at hand, then a full quotation will be issued before commencement of any further work.
